To achieve this, we implement strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
To prevent workplace accidents and illness, we focus on stringent workplace safety protocols and adopt new technologies. To ensure employee well-being, we provide our employees with coverage under the Health Insurance and ESIC Scheme. Under the guidance of the top leadership, a number of Health, Safety, and Environment Committees have been established to build and maintain a safe workplace. The Company continually upgrades its proactive and preventive safety measures, including the installation of modern fire detection and protection mechanisms, and the introduction of new technologies, tools, gadgets, and personal protective equipment.
The Board of Directors provides invaluable direction and assistance to the Management to ensure that safety and sustainability implications are accurately included in all new strategic initiatives, budgets, audit activities, and improvement plans. They also monitor quarterly and monthly reports on the safety, environment and health performance, and legal and regulatory compliance.
Himadri is subject to a number of statutory environmental rules and regulations that cover the manufacture, use, and sale of chemicals, air emissions, discharge into waterways, and other materials released into the environment. The Company complies with laws governing the production, handling, storage, transportation, handling, and disposal of waste products.
