Increasing requirements for tyre performance is driving innovation of new speciality tread blacks that break the traditional trade-offs between grip, rolling resistance, and tread wear. Our new, developing family of ‘VIRTEX’ speciality carbon blacks offer improved treadwear and low-rolling resistance that enables our customers to achieve tyre performance targets. In addition, VIRTEX carbon blacks have low impurities, offer good mixing, dispersion and processing.
